How scratchy is a Waterevolution black tap?
The black coating on Waterevolution's shower faucet, bath faucet, sink faucet and kitchen faucet are electrically coated. In this process, the paint is applied by a compressed air gun that is negatively charged. The faucets to be coated are positively charged, which automatically applies the coating evenly to the surface. After this, the taps are placed in an oven up to 200 degrees to cure the lacquer.
Electronic coating uses no solvent and is a lot more durable than other coating options.
Because of this process, Waterevolution's faucets are harder than galvanization and scratch resistant. This process is fairly new and a lot more environmentally friendly than galvanization.
