What is the material Solid Surface?

Solid Surface is the collective name for composite materials that are colored in the mass. They are solid and homogeneous and can be used for demanding applications.

All Solid Surface products have aluminum trihydrate (ATH) as a basic component. As a second component and binder, acrylate or polyester resins are used.

Aluminum hydroxide gives the material great rigidity and also ensures that it is more heat resistant than other plastics.

Acrylate and/or polyester provides flexibility, which mainly results in good workability and high impact resistance and strength.

Maintaining the material Solid Surface

For normal cleaning, you can use a natural cleaning agent, such as green soap or cleaning vinegar. If a scratch occurs in the material, you can 'polish' the material again using a sponge and Cif. This can be done by making circular movements over the surface. Then rinse the cleaned surface thoroughly with lukewarm water and dry with a clean soft cloth.
